After work session from 5:30pm til 7:30pm. Rigged 5.5m on 100ltr board and launched from the lee of fatboyslim's big rock groyne. It works well to give a bit of protection from the shorebreak and (at high tide) doesnt get in the way of the wind too much. The string weed at Hove is NOTHING like the disaster at Worthing, I was loving being free again. Little freestyle fin made a big difference too. Changed the sail down to a 5m Ezzy at half six, but stuck with the big board cos I didnt fancy getting caught out if the wind dropped suddenly. It didnt, but the waves did improve all the time the tide was dropping out again. Still only swell swoops, but it was good to feel the potential again.
